Hi, I’m Kimberly!

And I'm not your ordinary training consultant and facilitator.

My passion? Designing trainings that educate and inspire, feel less like a classroom and more like an experience, and help to connect in a world that’s becoming increasingly disconnected.

I never really fit into a box and that’s what makes my work different:

Icon of a graduation cap symbolizing education or learning.
An icon of a globe with grid lines, representing the internet or global connectivity.
Icon of a fountain pen nib.
Icons of a woman and a girl in beige on a light gray background.

Training consultant with a passion for creatively turning ideas into real-world action

Learning and development nerd who geeks out on the neuroscience of behavior change

Millennial who grew up with dial-up and is cautiously embracing AI

Calligrapher and creative who believes there is a place for creativity in learning, too

Proud mama to a toddler who teaches me something new every day

The result? Learning experiences that are timely, human, and designed to stick, just like learning should be.

Trusted Experience

You name it. I’ve done it: curriculum development, training design, workshop facilitation, leadership development, and peer learning. My experience spans a wide range of audiences in the fields of public health and healthcare.

Strong Foundation

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion and a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on Health Education and Behavioral Sciences. My passion for public health has been a driving force since my undergraduate years, and I’m proud to have graduated from both the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) and the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University.

Service-Driven

Service is close to my heart, and I’m a proud AmeriCorps alumni. During my time as a member of the Philadelphia Health Corps, I had the privilege of serving at a local elementary school, further nurturing my commitment to making a positive impact in communities.

Continuous Learner

Continuous Learning isn’t just a tagline. I’m committed to more than just designing meaningful experiences, I actively invest in growing my own skills, too. I recently completed a virtual facilitation training and am a proud graduate of the Goldman Sachs Black in Business program. I’m also an active member of the Association for Talent Development, the Mid-Atlantic Facilitators’ Network, and the American Public Health Association.

Anything is possible.

I started SMART Health Education because I saw too many trainings and meetings fall flat.

They were packed with information but missing the spark to truly engage, connect, and create meaningful change.

I have been in those rooms. I know what it is like when organizations want to do something impactful but do not have the time, tools, or capacity to design learning that actually sticks.

Here’s the truth: by 2030, more than 350 million workers will need to be reskilled or upskilled as AI, digitization, and rapid change continue to reshape the way we work.

For mission-driven organizations, training can’t just be about sharing information. The organizations that will thrive are the ones that invest in learning, growth, and innovation. Now more than ever, learning must be a strategic tool to help people adapt, lead, and move confidently into what’s next.

That is where SMART Health Education comes in. We help you design learning that dares to be different and makes a real difference.

Organizations Where Different Made a Difference

I’ve had the joy of supporting projects with mission-driven organizations who prioritize people, connection, and making an impact. Just like I do.
